Pioneer DJM500 Mixer Repair

This mixer is the workhorse of the industry but even the most robust mixers take abuse over time and need a little love. In this fella's case all the sliders and pots had quite a sever crackle to them when used. This was a combination of dry cracked solder joints and contaminants that find thier way into the mechanism. The only way forward was to desolder every pot and slider on the board, remove them and give them a good overnight blast in an ultrasonic solvent bath. They were then soldered back to the mixer with some fresh solder restoring function like a brand new mixer.
